What To Expect From PRP Treatments
We will draw a little amount of blood from your arm for the PRP procedure, and the blood will be spun in a centrifuge. The treated region is then “injected” with the processed solution using a technique called microneedling, in which the skin is pierced with a series of microscopic pinprick holes. Results should be seen between two and four weeks after the treatment, which lasts an hour. You can experience some redness and tingling after treatment as a result of the pinpricks. Usually, this goes away within a few hours.
